Participant@jkuo.gs I have tested the method on the link both with the SP2 and SP3 installer discs.
I would assume that starting from an SP1 installer would work too. What version is your source installer and what version are you trying to get to?

ParticipantI’ll try to answer even tho is not directed to me :)~
1-Just edit line #34 and remove the last J . That is remove the journaling.
2-It affects instaUp2Date the same way it does to instadmg.bash. That is only when the cache file is created. If you already have a cached file in the cached folder for the OSX version you are building, the change in 1- is useless. Delete the cache file to see a change in the end result

ParticipantI’d say that they are still important. In my opinion the difficulty is less and less with every new certification but to an outsider still proves (some) knowledge.
Having only Apple certifications might not be ideal but I think they are worth, specially since they are cheap

14.2.2 still had the problem but the new 14.2.3 seems to be fine.
I am not putting dropbox links because I do not have access to the volume installers at the moment

Participant@David I have given up for now in preparing our images with Office 2011 SP2 because of the two current bugs. One of them affects Exchange 2007 server as is my case so no SP2 for our clients yet.

ParticipantI wonder why you have a BaseSystem.dmg showing there 😯
Can you post an $ ls of your InstallerDiscs folder and the sha1 of them?
88gb525dxQK4gt6u
ParticipantAssuming that you want the same content on all the user profiles you could create a package that copies the content to the default profile, and let Lion do the copying uppon login.
This way you won’t end up with n copies of the same file until n users log in.
