Home folders are stored on four internal drives on the single server

They are created on the appropriate drive when a new user is made using ‘Create Now’

All on LDAP Open Dir Master – Snow Leopard Server on a single MacPro

I sometimes find that if say, sixteen users login to networked home dirs at the same time, it can take two minutes or more for things to settle down.
