Thanks that sounds good.
I notice that the User Template is ‘no access’ – presumably I modify it when logged in as Root? (rather than change the Permissions)

They are created on the appropriate drive when a new user is made using ‘Create Now’

I sometimes find that if say, sixteen users login to networked home dirs at the same time, it can take two minutes or more for things to settle down.
