I would suggest to download the 10.7.2 developer which solved mine.

    Cheers

    Hi bskinner,

“finally” (NOT) i put myself into it again.
I’m testing the application.xml editing and seems it is working. I’ll back if I find issues.

    Thanks for your replay

Generally Quicktime installer runs correctly only if you launch it from the boot disk.

    Hi,
I got the same issue. What I have found is that if you are imaging a “Multi-Touch” MBP not using his own bundle DVD you will miss the video files that show how to use and configure the multi-touch track-pad, shown on the right side of the panel…the one you see in black.
To solve the issue go to:

    1. System > Library > PreferencePane > Keyboard.PrefPane (right-click and show package content) > Content > Resources
    2. Check if you have these files:
    – Dragging.mov
    – DragLock.mov
    – Pinch.mov
    – Rotate.mov
    – ScreenZoom
    – Scroll.mov
    – SecondaryClick.mov
    – SecondaryClickTap.mov
    – Swipe.mov
    -TapToClick.mov

If you don’t, performe a fresh install of the MT MBP form the Bundle DVD, then locate the files and copy off in a safe place; then re-image the the MT MBP with your InstaDMG and copy back the files to the same location and the issue should be solve.
You can also package the files to be used into the InstaDMG process as a CustomPackage.

    Hope this works for you

    Are you working on Leopard?
Seems PackageMaker has some issues on that…
I got the same issue trying to build the CS3 package on Leopard. Composer uses the PackageMaker “engine” to build the package. No problem using Tiger.

    Hi Patrick,
you mean a post installer script that will delete the application leaving all the application frameworks untouched?

My goal is to create a small size image fast to be deployed and I can’t get any info about which kind of apple bundle software
is better to keep or not…maybe something that final user never use.. (iCal as well)

    thanks for you replay
