Has anyone that installed this update via downloaded Combo Updater instead of thru Software Update experienced the Optimizing Volume hang?

Where are you trying to change the password in question…Workgroup Manager, Terminal, or a third-party app like Webmin?

There is no functonality in Server Admin to change passwords.

Here’s a quick fix directly from Apple:

Users can’t send email within SquirrelMail – Article ID: 107982

Worked perfectly for me. Also fixes SquirrelMail/WebMail Compose window refresh issue…when you click send after following these directions, the web browser window will refresh, not flash and stay open to the email you just composed and sent.

I had to do a total reinstall due to the Mac OS X Server Security Update 003. Since I did the reinstall, this issue is resolved.

    Thanks anyway,

All access from a particular IP…can I change the IGMP to Other…and add any? Would that block all, or do I need a rule for TCP and UDP also?

    MacTroll,

What I did was as follows in Server Admin, Firewall, Advanced tab:

    Action: Deny
    Protocal: Other…ip
Service: (left it at default IGMP)

    Source:
Address: Other…xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (IP I wanted to block)
    Port: (blank)

    Destination:
    Address: Other…any in
    Port: (blank)
    Interface: Other…(blank)

    Hit OK.

    Restarted Firewall.

Sound good? Seems to be keeping them out. Should I copy this and add for TCP and UDP as well?

    Thanks,

Exactly…my client’s email server is running Windows 2000 Server and trying to do update dynamic DNS on mine. I host their website and am their DNS NS for their domain. My Xserve points to their box for mail. I am working with their IT guy this week…all he has to do is uncheck Register this connection’s addresses in DNS in their Dial-Up Connection DNS tab and all will be well.

Thanks for responding, I did a little research and found out what needed to happen.

    Everyone,

This is fixed. It was an issue on Apple’s end that they recently fixed.

    Thanks anyway,
