Thanks for the responses. I think the part that wasn’t making sense to me was summed up in a single statement.” Also, you may need to install a single dummy file to make the package work–I’ve seen reports that packages will complain if they don’t have files to drop. A “touch”ed file at /private/tmp is sufficient for me.” I was not understanding the fact that I needed a single dummy file to drop.

    Thanks for the help.

I added this line right below the initial installer line and it seems to work??

    /usr/sbin/installer -verbose -pkg “$CURRENT_OS_INSTALL_MOUNT/Optional Installs/Xcode Tools/XcodeTools.mpkg” -target $CURRENT_IMAGE_MOUNT -lang en >> $LOG_FILE

I have to admit that the subject of NDA hadn’t crossed my mind during the writing of the initial post…. Then I was reminded by a nice email suggesting that I not break my NDA here or anywhere else. I would like to be sure this is included into this post since this is an important issue. Your NDA is a legally binding agreement and could cause you to lose your WWDC membership and the priveliges that go along with it. I would like to take the time to publically thank the members who helped remind me of the NDA before I really broke it… Thanks..
