    Steeveevee,

You seem to be doing what I am attempting to do…

    2 questions:

    1) Are you using 10.2 or 10.3?

    2) Are you using cyrus-imap with sql_auth or just using net info users?

I’m guessing 10.2 and UW-IMAP, not cyrus, but I figured that I’d ask anyway.

Also, how has it gone with the virtual domains? Good, hopefully!

    Thanks for the help,

Question: 10.3 Server has Postfix, Cyrus, Mailman, and Squirrelmail installed. Is this true of regular 10.3? I’m pretty sure not, but the users postfix, cyrus, and mailman are in NetInfo Manager already so I thought I’d ask.

Also is there a way to get the builds that Apple used to install these apps? I’ve only been looking at this for a couple of hours, so….. If they are pre-installed, is the problem that they don’t have sql_auth?

I’m going to look around some more, but any help wold be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Have you tried compiling from sources, yet? It may be pretty simple from that aspect. Just a few make commands. That is what I had to do with my php to enable GD.

I’m going to be starting on this project very shortly. Hopefully we can figure it out together. 🙂 I finally got my proftpd up and running!

It’s now 10.3.1 and I can’t figure out how to make my umask the way I want.

I want my webserver’s directorys’ umasks to be 002, but everytime I seem to creat e a new folder in these directories, they come up with the permissions 755 not 775.

I don’t want to run the cron file to do this because then my files would have 775 instead of 664. Is there a problem with this, besides the ability to attempt to “run” the files? I am not that familiar with unix to know the concequences.

Any suggestions? Am I doing this wrong?

    Thanks for the help!
