    Thanks for the advice.

I’m not entirely sure about the Primary Domain Name and Primary Name Server Name. There is no name currently associated with my OS X Server.

We have a domain name (let’s call it mycompany.com). I have subdomains such as http://www.mycompany.com and mail.mycompany.com set up on a public DNS, and pointing to an externally hosted web server.

Would I use mycompany.com in the Primary Domain Name field? And what about the Primary Name Server Name?

Sorry if these are idiotic questions, but I really am new at this!

As far as I know, it doesn’t handle certificates… 🙁

Having read through the notes again, it probably won’t work yet: it requires an encryption algorithm of DES or 3DES (authentication is MD5 or SHA1).

Also, it seems to require a user ID as well as a password…

However, if you think you might be able to get it working, I’ll give you the details to test against.

One question: I’m unfamiliar with the IP format 192.168.132.0/24 – what does the 24 part signify?

    They’re in /etc/ppp/pptp_addresses – but yes, they’re there.
