    Hi Mactroll,

I went into NetInfo Manager, but under /Mounts, I only had name: mounts.

So I changed this as you specified. Then I added new properties for the other items.

*name: win2k.afp548.com:/Users — this is the name of your win2k server, plus the path to the sharepoint. If you are calling the sharepoint that your homefolders will be located “Homes” and you win2k server is windows.example.com then this would be “name: windows.example.com:/Homes” *

Is this share point the one I made on the OS X server, or the share point on the AD server where the windows home folders are stored?

dir: /Network/Servers was an option I had to add in, along with the vfstype. Opts: you say to leave alone, but it isnt in the list. Should I create an entry, and if is what are the values?

    net did not exist either.

Last of all, the url==smb:// AUTH……. where does this go?

    Thanks for your time,

    Stephen
