Here is my goal: I want to start using local home folders with network logins and have each user have their own network folder where they can dump work stuff. I don’t want to use mobile accounts.
In response to [i]macshome[/i], thats exactly what I want to do – is mount a share upon startup, but I want to do it for all my users so they have their own network folder mounted on the desktop or dock.
[i]Mosx86’s[/i] idea doesn’t give me a global way of using one command or script to allow a specific user to connect to their specific network folder. It would have to be done on each machines with their specific username & pswd.
Any further help on writing a script would be helpful. And how would I incorporate that into a login policy?
