I am looking for a reliable way to get spam assassin set up on 10.3.9 server. It needs to work.

I have tried so many walkthroughs… I want one that has a person behind it, who can help me through what seems the inevitable snags.

I am still struggling with this. I am not sure where I have gone wrong… But I have removed, and reinstalled everything according to the instructions at the beginning of this topic. I have read through the README files. It still does not work.

I can see and set up filters in Squirrel Mail but they don’t seem to do anything.

Any ideas?

So I am running 10.3.9… and I need Vacation messages.

I followed the instructions step by step…

When logged into Squirrel Mail I can configure a filter… or create a vacation message… However… When mail is sent to the address, it does not get the vacation reply… Rather the message goes on through to the inbox just like it did before I set this thing up.

I am not using secondary short names

I am using a plugin called vlogin that uses the file /etc/postfix/virtual to map the user’s e-mail address ([email protected]) to their shortname (bsmith)

I do this because I use the machine for virtual hosting, and need to have multiple [email protected] addresses.

Any ideas as to what is dorking me up here??
