I have had similar problems. If your email client saves IMAP mail, maybe removing the folder in mailbox in ~/library/Preferences/Mail might help?

Alternatively you can just cheat. Create a mailbox stored on your mac. Transfer all mail and recreate subfolders to it. Then remove the mail account and recreate it and just transfer everything back. I ended up doing that to save time.

As far as ease of use is concerned, MPP is easy to configure and the guys are quick to respond to any issues.

Been running with MPP for about a year now. Main issues we have had are with the regular monthly update scripts locking up the application and stopping mail.

Also their FTP servers do go down intermittently which prevents updates from occuring which also locks up the mail server.
