    Hrm…I hate to gripe, but some basic UNIX would probably be a good thing before playing around too much…things like mail servers need to be setup and maintained properly, or you get fun stuff like open spam relays…

    Anyway, try looking on the web for introductory material to emacs, or use the command “open -e /usr/exim/configure”. The first program (emacs) is a text editor invoked at the command line. The second, “open” with the “-e” switch, will open the file in TextEdit
