    Found the issue.Back in the 10.4 days we were usinga program called GreatDVD -which includes readDVD, to be able to read certain types of DVD. GreatDVD adds it’w own support to give 10.4. the ability to be able to mount certain disks. Turns out in 10.5 you don’t need ReadDVD any longer and in fact it was causing my 10.5 boxes not ot recognize the disks.

    Nope. It was working fine on 10.4.11 before I upgraded to 10.5.3. I might have to clean install all the machines.
