I had been wondering about the MGB Compatibility Update for a while. It’s for a feature called Magic GarageBand, I never installed it and nobody has requested it and Magic GarageBand worked ok without it. Recently after looking at the URL it gets pulled from again, I realised it was likely to be a compatibility update for those who also have Logic Pro 9/MainStage 2 installed.
