We have the following situation. We have a G5 XServe running Tiger Server that took 3 weeks to set up correctly. We had an Intel XServe procured for us to replace the G5 (single proc G5). We plan to replicate the Intel to the G5 at the end for load balancing (if possible). I am horrified that Apple has provided no mechanism to migrate the G5 Tiger system to the Intel. Has anyone looked into these issues? I am especially concerned about the LDAP setup.
