So how do I use the Workgroup Manager so that an LDAP user account can be a member of the local WWW (70) group?

I have my web server on the OS X Server machine, and several users whose duties include maintaining web sites on that web server. These users were created with the Workgroup Manager. I don’t understand how to make these people members of the WWW group. (It’s important for the web server that its files have “WWW” as the group.)

    thanks in advance, as usual

Group “www” (number 70) does not show up even when I do that. In fact there are about 20 entries in /etc/group that don’t appear when I enable ‘show system users and groups”.

    So I’m still confused 🙁
