Recently we have been running into a problem where local admins have been being managed by WGM randomly even when you hold down the shift key and tell it not to be managed the computer is still being managed. We are managing the computers via Computer Lists and most of the computers are laptops connecting to airports. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

I figured that out a while back, and have been deleting the Managed Prefs folder for some time now. I guess I was looking to stop it from doing it. In my case, the folder is re-generated within a minute or so, so it’s like I have a very small window of time to open apps, etc. before I have to delete it again. I am starting to wonder if I could have a DNS issue however. I have been doing forward and reverse lookups with no problem, however, when I do a changeip -checkhostname, the DNS name and hostname are different. Anybody else have that?
