    Hey Everyone,

I’ve just written a script to create users automatically on a server I administer. I noticed that even though I set the NI field for HomeDirectoryQuota, it wont be set when running repquota -a | grep username.

I also noticed that if you change the quota of a users home directory on the “Home” tab of WGM and save, the changes are pushed immediately. This is verified by “repquota -a | grep username” showing the new quota.

I have read that AFP connections will set this, but WGM obviously doesn’t need any type of AFP connection, espeically since AFP is disabled on my box.

I need to replicate WGM’s behavior in this action. Does anyone have any idea? Or know some way where I can see what commands WGM is pushing out as you interact with it?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Z

    Have you looked at ‘edquota’?
