Have a 10.4.8 server bound to AD and trying to set up WebDav for AD users to access server for file storage via https.
I have been successful at creating a realm and allowing open directory users on the OS X server authenticate to access the realm; however, I am unsuccessful at getting the active directory users to authenticate.
I receive the error “user name or password you entered is not valid. please try again.”
I checked the logs and see the following:
Apple Digest: Unable to authenticate for URI “/” from user “xxx” for realm “xxxx” at location “/Active Directory/xxx.xxx” from the directory (error = -14091).
Anyone successful with active directory users and OS X webdav?
