This is driving me nuts.
I have an office with a 5-static-IP DSL line conencted to a Cayman modem/router. I have a Linksys BEFVP41 VPN endpoint connected to the Cayman. It has a private IP, and its WAN IP is set to one of the 5 static IPs. I can administer it from a remote location so I know it’s getting out to the Internet. The Cayman router has an IP map from the Linksys’ public address to its private address. However, I can’t connect to it from here using VaporSec. I get this:
Dec 9 14:24:20 Milkcrate racoon: ERROR: isakmp.c:2033:isakmp_chkph1there(): phase2 negotiation failed due to time up waiting for phase1. ESP 68.20.xxx.xxx->192.168.1.100
Any ideas? I figure I probably have the routing wrong inside the office, but it looks OK. HELP!!!!
