OK, here comes the Newbie question (I admit freely)

The new vacation settings is a great idea, but it will not _selectively_ respond to certain e-mails.

For example, if someone gets a bulk/spam message that has a bogus return address, if the vacation settings is put in place, it will start a vicious cycle of sending out vacation messages, followed by getting “invalid e-mail address” responses back.

Does anyone have an idea of how to circumvent this or make this work better? I was hoping to implement this in server, but if the Apple Mail client does this better, then I have follow that route

Thanks everyone, and sorry if this question is silly to anyone out there
