I read the man page, but if I enter the command
/usr/sbin/ServerBackup -cmd restore -path /Volumes/Time\ Machine\ Backups/Backups.backupdb/machineName/YYYY-MM-DD-HHMMSS/volumeName/.ServerBackups/ -target /
then that does just about nothing. The man page for ServerBackup has no explicit examples, i.e. in particular it doesn’t show what exactly the -path argument is supposed to point at.
I have a hosed slapd and a bunch of other mucked up folders, and I need to restore these things manually, because TimeMachine isn’t cooperative. More on that subject in a separate thread.
