    Hello everyone

We’ve setup a Leopard Server as OD Master with DNS, DHCP, Web and VPN.

The issue is with Windows clients accessing a 2003 Windows Server shared folder through the Mac Server’s VPN.
First Ive set it up using L2TP. I thought that was the problem, that XP does not have a decent L2TP client even on SP2. Ive chandeg it to PPTP. The XP boxes are connecting OK, but they cannot access the Windows server shared folder. In the VPN logs, Ive found this error “Unsupported protocol 0x8057 received”.
I think its something with the GRE protocol.

The 10.5.2 Server has no firewall on, and the connection is made through an ADSL router, which all the necessary ports are forwarded in the internal IP of the Mac Server.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the answer.

Ive already tried that. Everything on the Mac side is working OK, its the Windows side that has the problem. Windows clients are trying to access an ERP SQL based software, and when they are trying to access the Windows shared folder, they cant get folder listing./

    Thanks

    Kostas B.
