unable to connect using Server Admin

Hi all,

using server admin i cannot connect to one of my servers anymore.
both using dns name, localhost it doesn’t work

[code]serveradmin blabla[/code] does work and give me the right info
ipfilter is not running

in system log i see

or

[code]lsof | grep LISTEN[/code] or network utility both say nothing is listening on port 687 or 311

in /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.servermgrd.plist i see:

[code] listenForRegularConnections
listenForSSLConnections

[/code]
and

[code] regularPort
687
sslPort
311

[/code]

servermgrd is running
10.4.11 server

anyone else seen this behavior? or knows how to fix it?

i am new to this site and forum. i came across an ad for rottweiler puppies and sent an e-mail. i have not heard anything like e-mail several times now. i told him that the image is not a woman holding a puppy. if something is for sale on this site people to withdraw their ads or just keep running? i think i wonder if a game. site, or you know. thanks …..
