I configured kkerberos on my master open directory server 10.3.4 and it seems to work coz I can read KDC : running…but when I start my AFP process on and choose to authenticate with kerberos it says : An appleshare system error occured… when I try to connect from a 10.3.4 client…I think the problem is with kerberos coz even when I connect in ssh kerberos doesnn’t seem to recognize me as an admin user. When I connect to the afp process standard authentication it works fine…
could anyone help me ? thank you.

    Hi,

I’ve set this up. When I received that error it was because kerberos was working but the server didn’t recognise the user associated with the ticket or I hadn’t shared anything for that user on the server. Try creating a test user on the server and sharing an empty folder with them as the owner.

    Paul Cowan.
