    I’ve recently setup a Mac OS X (10.5.4) Server and have also setup a Sharepoint named “Backups” for everyone to backup to via Time Machine. When I’m logged in to a client (10.5.4) I select the backup disk, and then it asks me for a username/password to access the share, I type it in and below is the error that’s written to system.log…

    Sep 15 16:14:13 clienthostname System Preferences[264]: Time Machine: Error -25307 while storing password in keychain for username: Doe, John serverURL: afp://[email protected]/Backups

    I have both a login keychain and a username keychain, the login keychain is set as my default. I’ve repaired disk permissions on both the client and server, if anybody could help me figure this one out I’d appreciate it.
