Tiger Server 10.4.3 & SMB PDC – 2 questions

1) Any admin can please feedback on SMB on 10.4.3 as a PDC.
We are currently hosting a PDC in 10.3.9 and are ready to move to 10.4.3, but we keep hearing about SMB nmbd issues on the XP Client side and continuos needs to restart the SMABA services.
Any Feedback ? 50 Users XP SP2

2) There are some nifty new tricks in samba 3.0.20. Is it possible to update a server from the current installation to 3.0.20 without disturbing the Samba / Apple relationship ?
