haha no this message is not marked as spam. But heres my question. I was under the impression (I think i read it somehwere) that Tiger Server uses Spam Assassin as it’s built in spam filter. My server is currently running Panther server btw. They say SA is the way to go. However reading through the Leopard Server description, it SOUNDS like Leopard server is using a much more basic spam filter. It sounds like they are using the same filter that is built into the mail client. Something that just reads the message, and marks what it thinks is spam, as spam. This doesn’t help me since mail.app’s spam filter does a HORRIBLE job. Not only does it let 30-60 spams through a day, but I often find false positives in the junk folder. There are probably many more false positives I don’t find but there are so many spams in there, who has time to look through them all.
So does Leopard Server use SpamAssassin? If not, should I install it myself or are there other/better solutions?
