    with Panther server all the server apps would populate the server name in the server admin apps, when launched from the server. This was a sign reverse DNS was working. with Tiger it no longer does this… Reverse is working though… Anyone else notice this.

    Looks like its not just me… I confirmed this with a couple people. I wonder why they would have changed this.

    Are you talking about the “Resolve DNS Names” preference? This didn’t help… I have seen this on every Tiger server upgrade I have done. I don’t think I have done any Tiger server setups from scratch yet, but I was able to confirm that other people are seeing this on the OSX server mailing list. Strange….
