Things that I would like to see in Bindery

I run 2 of the domains for a well known computer company. I’d like to be able to share the zone file duties with some other colleagues, but we need something that can make sharing safer (O.K, fool-resistant).

I like your product. It is straightforward and has a good interface. I’d use it full time (and pay for it), if you would consider these feature requests.

Support for multiple hosts (hostnames or IPs) behind a single hostname (RAIC)
Support for comments on any host entry that stay attached between the GUI and the exported zone file.
Some form of nslint-like functionality. It’s good to know if your zone file is hosed before you reload it.

Access lists to control who can and can’t edit hosts
Backup zone file storage so you can revert to a previous version. (Possibly with a summary of changes between the live zone file and the backup copy).
