Sync local folder at logout

Hi, i have been told that disk intensive apps such as logic final cut etc will not save properly to the network home, and even if they do, it will affect performance.

Would it be possible to create a local folder on the hard disk when an OD user (strictly speaking an AD user imported into the OD directory as an augmented user) logs in, allow them to work in it, then sync this folder back to their network home?

It would be great if this was possible,
