Standalone account into OD integration

I have several stand-alone accounts on different machines that I wish to integrate into my managed server system. These are 10.4 Client machines and they have the same account name i wish them to have on the network. What is the easiest way to migrate their user data accross to a home directory for them so that all their user data is in their newly created home directory? Also will it conflict because their OD account is the same as their non-networked local account?

Local accounts will always hit before the network ones, so if they have the same short name, they’ll always log in to the local account rather than the OD one, so you’ll have to change one of them.
