I have an Xserve G5 running 10.4.2. I figured out that if you host a website and point it’s root directory to a shared volume you can then drop the template.spotlight in it to allow a fully indexed search from any web broswer. This assumes that you have turned on Spotlight indexing on that volume by running this command sudo mdutil -i on /Volumes/?????
Anyway to my question. When you go to said site. mysite.whatever.com/.spotlight
You are given a search field. I am able to search for any content you can think of. Text inside of PDFS, Word Docs, etc. But you are not able to search for names of files. No folder names, files nothing. Just the content. Does anyone know how to enable file name searchs?
