Share printers wired and wireless

I would like to setup printers using Server that will be shared (browsable) in the Default Browser both when our clients are using wifi and wired net. We can’t publish via OD as we have an AD. Also we would prefer the users to install the printers themselves (we could send out pre-configured printers).

The printers are using AppleTalk today and that works but the AppleTalk support will be removed from our routers soon.

I can setup a print server mac that shares the printers via IPP or LPR + Bonjour. Of these options IPP is better as the client get the correct PPD preselected. But as you know Bonjour (and Sharing) only works on one subnet, there are two, wired and wifi.

We would need about 14 queues on the server for all our printers.
