Setting Prefs depending on MAC addresses?

Hi,

I’m new to this forum; thanks for reading my question.

So here it goes!

We’ve just got an Xserve and I’m trying to use NetBoot for deployment of the Lab Machines. I’ve created an .nbi file of the "perfect" system, however I have about 10 machines that need to be configured with different names and such.

Is there a way to clone the image to all 10 machines, and automatically run a script to set the prefs for each of those 10 machines, including the names of the accts? For example, I need to name them Station1, Station2, etc..?
