    Hi.

I am desperatly hoping someone can help me. I am experiencing a problem that seems to have gotten progressivly worse over time.

I am running Mac OS X 10.4.9 server on Xserver PPC. The ServerAdmin program started taking an extremely long time to load everything both remotely and when run locally. Now it is telling me that I cannot access that server because it doesn’t exist, even when running from the local server itself.

I hope someone can make sense of this problem!

I got the ‘server does not exist’ message when I told it not to use a secure connection (I was doing some testing) – it went away when I turned that back on. Otherwise, maybe check what it’s trying to connect to and ping that address from the machine, make sure it’s working. If you’re referring to it by DNS name, try the IP instead or try the localhost IP if you’re on the server, might help diagnose it!
