Server network oddities

I am running a G5 Xserve with 10.3.5
Firewall off

AFP – works fine
OD and LDAP – work fine

I am unable to ssh to the server, it just freezes and doesn’t ask me for a password.
I am also unable to run Software update in Server Admin, I get a network failure error. I use ARD and can connect to the server but am unable to open a web site in Safari. I can ping the server. It worked a few weeks ago but all of a sudden it didn’t work.

I also hooked up EN02 and got a dhcp address but that is giving me similar symptoms.

Any suggestions?

Have a close look at all your logs. With a problem like this there is almost certainly going to be a clue in your logs that will help you (and us) to figuere out the problem and be that much closer to a solution.
