😯 Why would our 10.1.5 server automatically log out overnight? It started doing this a while ago then we found our root password had been changed. So we plugged all incoming traffic from our router, reinstalled the OS, turned on its firewall, left all sharing services OFF, disabled root user, and it STILL logs off overnight– I’m greeted with the log-in screen in the morning. Please help!

I am not sure. FYI, I am a graphic and web designer most of the time, network admin only by default!
Can you suggest which log(s) I should inspect in order to discover this information? In the “system software” log I noticed a 03:16 restart of syslogd. Thx.

It says it’s been going for over a day, with 2 users. I assume that’s root (before I disabled it) and my admin user. So I guess it’s a logout, not a restart.
