    This seems like an obvious question, but what [b]IS[/b] the Mail Queue tab in Server Admin (in Mail > Maintenance )

    I would think that it would be all the mail that I send, or receive, on my server.

    Yet mine is always filled with nonsense.

    I know what you’re thinking, this idiot has an open relay and he doesn’t even know it! But I don’t! I’ve checked on every open relay checked I could find (sides from simply setting it up properly so I already know it’s NOT). I pass with flying colors every time. So what is this stuff in my queue. How can I find out where it comes from, and how can I get rid of it.

    And issue I have that might be related is short bursts of near 100% CPU usage from perl, from the user _amavisd

    Can anyone tell me what all this means. I’m worried my server might be vulnerable in some way I don’t know about. And beyond that, I’m just concerned about general slowness of the mail server when it goes through these 100% CPU fits.
