Looks like this update had caused multiple issues for some folks. I can attribute a strange ssh/kerberos problem to this update. After this update I could no longer connect to my server via ssh using any account.

Kerberos would issue tickets for all services (afp, ftp, ssh) but I would still be prompted for a password! but the password would not work. Anyone else have a similar problem or another one? It would be nice to get a heads-up from Apple when these “updates” reconfigure your server.

to be fair…this is the first update that has borked something.I forgot to mention some other problems. My admin account could no longer make any changes in WGM even though I was authenticated. Plus suddenly I had to enter a password to use CUPS. I don’t know enough about unix to remedy these problems. All I know is that they all surfaced after applying this update.

I’m glad apple releases timely updates buit having to reinstall & reconfigure your server is a PITA! 😈
