I’ve set my user accounts to all login via Mobil Accounts. It works great (esp. with managed preferences on the Mobility sys pref) but I’m a little concerned about security of the data passing between client and server.
I’ve configured the server and client to both use SSL. This functionality seems to be working great. I also have the AFP server configured to Enable Secure Connections and disabled guest access. Is this the best I can do (within reason) to secure mobil account syncing? I’d love to only pass encryped data between server and client if at all possible. I understand I could do this with rsync, but I was wondering if there were an easier way (read: something in the GUI-based tools).
