I have a student with a network home folder who cannot access the internet. The local admin account on the machines we’ve tried can get access. Other students can also access the web through Safari on the same machines. It just seems to be the one user. I’ve tried deleting caches (all kinds, web, user, managed prefs. etc.) and tried removing all of this student’s Safari support folders. While we are experiencing this connection problem, all other users can connect and there doesn’t appear to be any other network / shared drive / server issues. The network status in System Prefs. is green and the DNS / IP details are as they should be. The proxy setting is also as it should be. The student can browse the network as normal.
