Rsync issues – random files not getting copied

I’m attempting to rsync our current files over to a new server. I seem to be getting random files not being copied.

I thought that it might be a permissions issue, so I attempted to log in as root via AFP, but that doesn’t seem to work, at least not on our server (I’m betting on user error on my part).

In any event, does anyone have any recommendations on best practices for using Rsync to get old and new file servers it step?
