I’m trying to allow non-admin users of certain machines to restore iPods. I’m told the answer is in the /etc/authorization file but I’m not getting it. Googling the problem didn’t show me anything pertaining to iTunes and though there are a few examples for other programs I can’t piece the puzzles together.

Has anyone done this? I’d be willing to do this with MCX too

Is there a better forum to discuss /etc/authorization?

Isn’t that the whole point of the /etc/authorization mechanism, a place to elevate privileges for specific programs?
