I read that OS X Server can mount NFS shares and re-share them over AFP, with the intended purpose of making them available to OS 9 computers and others. Well it also has another added bonus. Or fault if you ask a security expert, but I’ll accept the risk. I have a simply network with my server on the net, and also connected to a switch, and the server is the router. Now port mapping on OS X is a pain in the ass, but even if it was easy, keeping track of all your custom ports will always be. Much easier, would be if there was a way I could have my server mount every available network drive, then I could log on to my server and in one big scoop, i could have access to all my computers at once. That would be extra cool. Is this possible, and if so, hhhhhhhhhow I’do it?
