Can anyone explain why, on two different OSXS 10.2.4 servers set up following the directions here at AFP548, I get the following error over and over in /var/log/exim_mainlog?
[code:1:4629f37c2e]2003-03-22 17:49:48 HC6CV0-0001LQ-00 failed to open DB file /var/spool/exim/db/retry: Inappropriate file type or format[/code:1:4629f37c2e]
I’ve tried changing permissions on the directory and files, changing owner on both, deleting the retry and retry.lock files and letting the system recreate them — nothing makes them go away and I get it every time a message goes through the system. It’s really annoying.
