    Howdy all,
I’ve been all over this great Internet of ours looking for an answer to my question and have yet to find a definitive one: is it possible to set up Tiger server in such a way that people logging in will have their home directories mounted on a remote NFS server? We already have a Solaris box serving up home directories to our Solaris and Linux boxes via NFS and our Windows hosts via SMB. I need to get an Xserve (and all Macs that authenticate against it) to mount people’s home directories (and project shares, if possible) automatically whenever they log in.

If possible, can anyone point me to a nice HOWTO that runs it down, step-by-step, preferably with a UNIX geek slant?

    Thanks.
