Red Dot at logon

Does anyone know what this red dot is waiting for?
Also once i login, i have a Preferred DC selected in the Active Directory Plugin but am seeing that Kerberos is granting the Ticket from other DC’s
meaning to me that the ad username and password is authenticating with dc’s other than my Preferered DC.

Any ideas?
Im running 10.7.3
