I’ve got our SL server running as a Radius server authenticating against our AD and all appears fine. Clients log in, get an IP and then let the user in. However when a user logs out the login window hangs with the spinning wheel until the machine is rebooted. The system log fills up with these messages:-

    20/01/2010 14:18:17 kernel AFP_VFS afpfs_DoReconnect: sock_ioctl for new socket on /Network/Library failed 22.
20/01/2010 14:18:17 kernel AFP_VFS afpfs_DoReconnect: sleep for 10 seconds and then try again

That makes sense, when the user logs out the machine disconnects from the network and can’t connect to the shares. The question is how do I stop it trying until another user logs in?

Also, can Snow Leopard server perform Radius machine auth?
