I would like to send a command to a series of boxes and find out what shares they have published…

I would like to find out the share name, the actual dir where the share lives, and the protocol it is served up via….

the command would be sent to Tiger clients and servers

    help?

is the data on published share info kept in one of the dscl tables?

dscl localhost -list /LDAPv3/servername/Mounts will show me what is out there per a given server if WGM is involved – but is anything kept in a NetInfo table?

I would use ARD to send this to a whole fleet of machines and then parse the output into something report happy

    thankee!
